Children's Specialized Hospital, part of RWJBarnabas Health, is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Primary Care Pediatrician to join our nationally recognized team providing comprehensive, family-centered care to children with special healthcare needs.

Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- BLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care for children with special healthcare needs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and care coordination skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, wellness visits, and acute illness management for children with special healthcare needs
- Coordinate care with pediatric specialists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive treatment
- Develop individualized care plans that support each patient's medical, developmental, and psychosocial needs
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards
- Participate in shared call coverage to ensure continuity of patient care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and evidence-based practice
- Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams

NJ Paid Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $200,000 to $250,000 per year.
The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. We also take into consideration market benchmarks, if and when appropriate, and internal equity to ensure fair compensation relative to the university’s broader compensation structure.
