Enterprise Cascadia
Company Overview
Enterprise Cascadia is a non-profit community development financial institution founded in 1995 that provides loans throughout Oregon and Washington with focal points around current offices in Astoria, Ilwaco, Port Angeles, Portland, Seattle, and Shelton. Enterprise Cascadia specializes in transactions that are generally not available through traditional banks and looks for opportunities to invest resources in businesses and activities that will promote family, environmental and/or economic resilience.
Company History
Since 1995 the Enterprise team has delivered non-bank investment capital and expert services in new ways to rural people and places experiencing the end of a long tradition of prosperity based on resource abundance. Starting in 2007, these same investment and consulting products were extended to urban communities like Seattle and Portland. Enterprise’s products are designed to accelerate the emergence of new traditions for achieving and sustaining prosperity from natural resources.

Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Energy Efficiency Loans deliver financing at affordable rates to implement energy efficiency measures in homes, achieving reduced CO2, increase ‘green collar’ jobs, reduce homeowner energy costs and increase home tenure. Starting in 2011 these loans became available to homeowners and contractors in select neighborhoods of King County, Washington. Since 2009, select counties of Oregon, including Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington Counties have had access to these loans. Expansion into additional Oregon Counties is expected in 2011.
