After-School All-Stars Puget Sound

Company Overview

Founded in 1992, After-School All-Stars provides free, daily after-school programs to 90,000+ youth in more than 450 school sites at 19 chapters across the U.S. ASAS is a leading national after-school program provider focused on five comprehensive pillars: 1) Academic Readiness, 2) Career Exploration, 3) STEM, 4) Wellness and Social-Emotional Learning, and 5) Visual and Performing Arts. Our school-based programs combine these areas to help middle schoolers build the knowledge and skills they need to succeed, both in school and in life.

Company History

In 1992, ASAS founder Arnold Schwarzenegger served as Executive Commissioner of the Inner-City Games, a Los Angeles fitness expo for youth in need. The powerful impact this had on its participants inspired the creation of the Inner-City Games Foundation (ICGF) in 1992. By the early 2000s, ICGF had transformed its model to provide holistic after-school programming including enrichment and academic support, and our organization was renamed accordingly. Today, there are 19 ASAS chapters serving more than 90,000 students in need nationwide. As the first chapter in the Pacific Northwest, ASAS Puget Sound first launched programs in Fall 2016.

Benefits

ASAS promotes a healthy work/life blend and offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, a 403b match, 18 days of paid time off, flex time, and 15 paid holidays.

ASAS is an equal opportunity employer and candidates of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
