Description

You will design and adapt strength, speed, and conditioning plans for soccer or basketball athletes age eleven to eighteen. You’ll analyze athlete check-ins, monitor progress, and provide clear, actionable feedback to help each athlete.

This is a part-time role ideal for coaches who have worked inside high-performance soccer environments such as:

MLS academies
MLS Next programs
NWSL or NWSL academy setups
USL Championship or USL League One academies
NBA teams
Div 1 basketball programs
 

Responsibilities

      Build individualized strength, speed, and conditioning programs aligned with soccer or basketball movement demands

      Review athlete updates and training logs to adjust plans

      Provide clear technical feedback on form, mechanics, and movement patterns

      Track progress and ensure adherence to development standards

Requirements

     *Minimum five years of strength and conditioning coaching experience

      *Prior experience working with soccer / basketball athletes in elite environments such as MLS academies, MLS Next, NWSL pathways, USL academies, NBA, Div 1 basketball

     *Strong understanding of soccer-specific movement, acceleration, deceleration, agility, and injury-prevention principles

     *CSCS or equivalent certification strongly preferred

     *Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with youth athletes
