Description
Technology Analyst - Security This full-time position reports to the Security Manager and is located at the Ed Fischer Operations Center, 8600 NE 117th Avenue, Vancouver, WA.WHAT YOU WOULD DO: Support the Security team by managing the day-to-day operation and performance of systems such as surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and emergency notifications. • Monitor daily performance of surveillance and emergency communication systems • Issue and deactivate access credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors • Maintain up-to-date records of user permissions, access groups, and clearance levels • Assist with planning and implementation of system upgrades, expansions, or replacements • Conduct routine audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and safety regulations • Create reports on system activity and track trends or anomalies for leadership review • Represent Physical Security in cross-departmental meetings or planning sessions • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders • Provide input on system design, device placement, and technology selections
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree and three years of experience in physical security operations. Experience using security systems (e.g., DSC, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, AMAG). Strong organizational skills. Proficient in documenting procedures and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Valid Driver's license preferred for site visits across multiple locations.

Employees will also receive eight hours of vacation leave and sick leave every month and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
SALARY: Clark Public Utilities' salary ranges are market based and established annually. With full competency in the role and satisfactory performance the target is midpoint within the established range. Technology Analyst-Security: $68,165 - $84,429 - $100,694
