Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of litigation experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing cases while also contributing to complex litigation matters alongside senior attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
- Develop case strategy and provide legal analysis and advice to clients
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Washington State
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated courtroom and deposition experience
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and cases efficiently
- Excellent communication and client service skills
Compensation & Benefits
Meyer, Fluegge & Tenney offers a competitive salary plus excellent benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, medical insurance at no cost to the employee, and a profit-sharing retirement plan which is employer funded 10% of the employee's salary. Base compensation for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional discretionary year end bonus will be added based on hours and performance.
