The Role
We are seeking a sales and product specialist to be responsible for the sales of instruments and software products to our nuclear medicine customer base. The role involves understanding radiopharmaceutical applications and gaining sufficient knowledge to become a resource for our customers. You will be responsible for planning your own activities, including arranging customer visits, meetings, and providing technical presentations or demonstrations, as well as servicing incoming correspondence and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The role requires supporting our existing accounts as well as developing new clients and business opportunities. When not traveling, you would be based at our corporate headquarters in Chantilly, VA. As a small organization, you will need to have initiative, be well presented, a good communicator and have a "hands-on" approach.
Responsibilities
- Service incoming inquiries
- Provide sales quotations and technical information on LabLogic products
- Maintain relationships with existing clients by phone, email, Teams and personal visits
- Attending and presenting at conferences both with colleagues and individually
- Process sales orders and track them to final completion
- Coordinate activities with our admin and support teams
- Keeping customer records accurate and up to date using the Company CRM regularly, including brief reports of all visits

Requirements
Essential
Sales skills:
- 1-3 years sales or technical experience
- Technical aptitude and understanding of laboratory instrumentation and software
- Commercial mindset and motivation to work with existing customers to identify new business
- Desire to develop customer relationships and maintain their overall satisfaction
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities
Excellent communication:
- Influential presentation skills
- Ability to explain and sell products of a highly technical nature
Independent:
- Ability to work autonomously while working as a member of an international team
- Ability and willingness to travel 50%+
Organized:
- Have a high level of self-organization with a proactive approach to the role
Education
- An undergraduate degree in a discipline related to this role
Desirable
- Prior work in nuclear medicine preferred
- Knowledge of chromatography or similar laboratory instrumentation
- Proven sales experience in the field
