The Global Fund Services business is one of the fastest growing areas in Northern Trust, offering a comprehensive suite of fund products and services to Asset Managers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering end-to-end NAV Oversight and fund accounting services for Northern Trust clients.
• Manage consultants to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
• Resolve complex client reporting/accounting issues and act as Fund Accounting SME in client meetings.
• Provide leadership, foster teamwork, and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Partner across regions to align on requirements and expectations.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
• Oversee staffing, resource allocation, and operational performance.
• Represent Fund Accounting Management on enterprise projects and initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive fund accounting experience within asset management, custodian banks, or third-party administrators.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including virtual teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, control processes, and multi-product structures (e.g., OEICs, ACS, IT, AIFs, TTFs).
• Proven ability to deliver BAU and drive operational improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Client-focused mindset with problem-solving and influencing skills.
• Experience participating in enterprise-wide projects and client meetings as SME.
