Your Role:
You will:
- Conduct psychological interviews and evaluations for juvenile and adult defendants
- Assess candidates applying to Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department positions
- Provide supervision to practicum students
- Prepare psychological profiles and testify in court as needed
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Psychology (or related field) from an accredited institution
- At least 1 year of supervised postdoctoral experience in clinical or forensic psychology
- Strong skills in psychological testing, evaluations, and written/oral communication
- Preferred: Experience in correctional settings or forensic evaluations
Licensure:
- Must be licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, or eligible for licensure within 1 year of hire.
