Job Overview
Serves as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) as assigned by the Lead Pilot. Responsible for the safety of passengers and crew and the comfortable, timely operation of the aircraft. Supervises the flight crew and ensures that all flight and ground operations comply with FAA regulations. Determines flight routes, speed, and take-off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements. Makes decisions regarding possible delays, rerouting or flight cancellations. Will perform other general department duties when not flying.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Operates the aircraft per Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and aircraft limitations.
Completes an aircraft pre-flight inspection before each departure. Conduct flights in accordance with the Operations Manual and applicable federal, state, local and foreign regulations governing the operation.
Maintain working knowledge of all applicable CFRs, the AIM, AFM, and the Operations Manual. Ensures that the aircraft is airworthy, registered, and that the required documentation is on-board the aircraft. Checks weather and all applicable NOTAMs where available, and determines fuel, oil, and oxygen requirements. Determines the aircraft weight and balance.
Ensures that all flight planning and risk management requirements have been met. Ensures completion of the Passenger Safety Briefing by the Flight Attendant.
Completes all post flight duties and documentation, including notifying the company of deviations to any planned itinerary, schedule, or overnight location.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school (Required)
5-7 years experience working with/following FAA regulations
5-7 years type rated and current in super-mid or larger aircraft
Holds an Airline Transport Pilot license with multi-engine rating and type rated in the appropriate aircraft in which the pilot is to act as
G-500/600/700 Type Rating
Extensive PIC International experience, Europe, Asia, South America
Large cabin, international PIC/SIC experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Licenses and Certifications:
Current Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Required)
Possesses a First-Class FAA Medical Certificate (Preferred)
Valid US Passport (Required)
