Now Hiring: Associate Attorney (3–5 Years’ Experience)
Cross Sound Law Group – Poulsbo, WA
Cross Sound Law Group, a family-oriented, Poulsbo-based general civil practice, is seeking an associate attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our small but growing firm. We focus on estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate and business transactions, bankruptcy, and civil litigation.
We are looking for a candidate with some litigation experience—or a strong desire to learn—who is ready to help meet the increasing demand in our litigation practice, especially in the areas of real estate and estate disputes. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, is interested in building their practice, and is capable of managing a varied caseload across Kitsap, Jefferson, and Clallam counties.
Requirements:
3–5 years’ legal experience practicing in Washington State
Preferable experience in the area of real estate and probate/trust administration
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage cases across multiple practice areas
Must submit one or two recent writing samples (preferably briefs)

Requirements
Education & Licensure
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing with the Washington bar
3–5 years of relevant legal experience
Core Litigation Experience
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Managing discovery (written discovery, depositions, document review)
- Court appearances, hearings, and motion practice
- Ability to handle cases with a moderate level of independence
- Experience working with or preparing matters for trial
Real Estate Law Experience
- Title, boundary, or easement disputes
- Contract disputes involving real property
- Familiarity with deeds, purchase agreements, and title documents
Estate Administration & Probate Experience
- Preparing and filing probate documents
- Working with executors, administrators, and beneficiaries
- Addressing contested probate or trust disputes (preferred)
- Knowledge of estate and fiduciary litigation issues
